{\noindent Gentlemen:}
I am returning a new signature card to replace the card that I
previously sent to you and which you refused to honor because it also
contained my wife's signature.
May I call to your attention to the fact that your instructions are
misleading in that you state under C. that `` It is similar to the card
you must complete when opening a checking account with any bank.''
Evidently, the signature card is not ``- - similar to the card you must
sign - -'' since on ordinary checking accounts it is possible for others
to be authorized to sign checks on individually held accounts.
Both my wife and I are so authorized and this authorization was obtained
simply by adding our signatures to the signature card for the accounts.
I trust that you will complete the formalities of supplying me with check
blanks at your earliest convenience as I will be needing to make use of
this facility in the very near future. I am also intending to transfer
some additional funds into my account but I will have to delay doing
this until the check writing service becomes available.
